PI ProcessBook replacement

Replace PI ProcessBook. Keep your PI data where it is.

Support for PI ProcessBook ended on 31 December 2024. Cyzag reads your PI System directly, rebuilds your displays on the web without code, and puts the shift record, OEE and cost tracking on the same screens.

What you keep

Nothing you rely on today has to go.

  • Your PI System

Cyzag reads your PI Data Archive read-only, through a native connection. Nothing migrates and nothing is written back.

  • Your tags and history

Live and historical tag data, the same tags your displays use today.

  • Your displays

Rebuilt as live process diagrams from the same tags, without code, and opened in a browser on desk, tablet or phone.

What you gain

What ProcessBook never did.

  • Trends and analysis

Charts on one grid, search the history by value, and drill from a diagram straight into the trend behind it.

  • A calculation library

Your own formulas on live data, real-time or aggregated, written once and reused across units and sites.

  • The shift on the same screen

Logbook, handovers and routines beside the process data, so a dip has its explanation next to it.

  • OEE and variable cost

Built in, from the same data, instead of a separate spreadsheet.

  • Templates across sites

A display built once and deployed to every plant, adjusted where a plant needs it.

  • The cost of a drift, and its cause

With Cyzag Intelligence, each drift is priced in euros and comes with its likely cause.

How the move works

Four steps, no big switch-over.

  1. 1 Connect Cyzag to your PI Data Archive, read-only.
  2. 2 Rebuild the displays the shift opens every day first, without code.
  3. 3 Run both side by side until your people have moved across.
  4. 4 Retire ProcessBook.

Questions

Is PI ProcessBook still supported?

No. Support for PI ProcessBook ended on 31 December 2024, so it receives no fixes or security updates.

Do we have to replace our PI System?

No. Cyzag reads from your PI Data Archive read-only. Your historian stays where it is and remains the system of record.

What happens to our existing displays?

They are rebuilt in Cyzag from the same PI tags, without code. Most plants start with the displays the shift opens every day and move the rest over time.

How is this different from PI Vision?

PI Vision replaces the displays. Cyzag does that too, and adds the shift record, routines, OEE, cost tracking and root-cause work on the same screens.
